At the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Architecture on the 25th and 27th of September, 2023. a meeting of participants from the international COST project CA18204 Dynamics of placemaking and digitization in Europe's cities (DOPMADE) was held. The meeting entitled HISTORY OF SENSING THE PLACE AND PLACEMAKING was opened by Prof. Dr. Ana Nikezić, Vice Dean for Science, and organized by Prof. Dr. Aleksandre Đukić, assistant. Dr. Jelene Marić, assistant. Dr. Branislav Antonić. The meeting was attended by more than 20 participants from all over Europe, who, as a part of this meeting, went to visit Golubac.

On November 22nd and 23rd the 2nd Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus + Cli-CC.HE Project will be held at the School of Architecture and Design UNICAM, Sant’Angelo Magno Campus, CO13 Ascoli Piceno.

The last regional stakeholder conference in the Middle Danube Region in the DANUrB+ Project was held in Golubac on November 4-5, 2022. The conference was organised by teams from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade and Golubac Municipality. The main part of the conference were sessions where stakeholders and partners from West Romania, Croatia and Serbia presented their organisations, development visions and potentials to cooperate at regional level. There were also special presentations of the DANUrB+ Atlas, technical project and school programmes in Golubac. Aside of the sessions, all participants had a cultural tour in the Serbian part of the Iron Gates Gorge, with cultural visits to Golubac Fortress and “Lepenski Vir” Archaeological Park.

DANURB+ DANube Urban Brand + Building Regional and Local Resilience through the Valorization of Danube’s Cultural Heritage (2020-2022)...

Two representatives of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade – Prof. Aleksandra Djukić and Asst. Branislav Antonić – participated in the meeting of the DANUrB+ INTERREG Project in Calarasi, Romania, on May 30-June 3, 2022. The meeting sessions were also attended by the associate partners of the faculty from Smederevo and Sombor. The topics of the sessions were: action plans for Danubian cities and towns, work with stakeholders at the local level, establishing the project quality label and intangible cultural heritage along the Danube. Aside od the sessions, faculties of architecture from Budapest and Belgrade agreed about joint activities in the area of Sombor in Serbia and Baja in Hungary.

Students and teaching staff of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade participated in the Erasmus+ workshop of the CREATIVE DANUBE Project in Calarasi, Romania, May 30-June 3, 2022. Five students (Nikola Mitrović, Marko Milosavlјević, Milica Ristović, Neda Stamenković & Milen Galetin) worked for five days with colleagues from the faculties of architecture from Krems, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Novi Sad and Bucharest on revitalisation projects for Calarasi, as a middle-sized Danubian city. The projects of all student groups were presented on the last day of the workshop, with an additional debate. Two mentors were in front of the faculty: Asst.Prof. Danijela Milovanović Rodić and Asst. Jelena Marić.

The Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade and ARENA (Architectural Research Network) are inviting You to participate in the International Symposium: "Metro-Milieu: (Alter)Rurality As A Relational Gap Between Inhabiting Scales" from May 23 – 26, 2019. The call for participants is open to students, researchers and practitioners of any discipline feeling related to the theme of the event.

20 students from Master Studies in Integral Urbanism program and staff from the Master course МАСИУ-11030 Савремени урбанистички концепти (Contemporary Urban Concepts) at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade attended the first national DANUrB student workshop in the Iron Gates Region in November 30, 2018. This was a one-day on-site event and meeting. All participants from Belgrade visited several important locations in the region and met local stakeholders, with whom they started the last phase of DANUrB research considering the project strategy.

DANUrB team from the Faculty of Architecture of the Univeristy of Belgrade, alongside the team from a co-partner from Serbia, the University of Novi Sad – Faculty of Technical Sciences, got an award for the best cross-border project in the field of culture and cultural heritage in Serbia at a special ceremony, which was held within 6th National Conference on Cross-border Cooperation on November 14, 2018.

The aim of the event is to highlight the reflexive role of the academic institution and its social significance in raising awareness and education to act in the complex environment of the new challenges that urban settlements are faced with.
