Bojana Lević
 (Čanković) was born in 1991 in Virovitica, Croatia. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 2013 at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, with a GPA of 9.47/10. In 2015, she completed her Master’s degree at the same faculty, with a GPA of 10.00/10. From 2018 to 2020, she completed Specialist Academic Studies in the study programme Energy-Efficient and Green Architecture. She enrolled in the Doctoral Academic Studies in Architecture and Urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, in 2021. She has passed all the required examinations and registered her doctoral dissertation topic. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation. 

She began her professional career in 2015 with a professional internship at the Asadov architectural bureau in Moscow, Russian Federation. From 2015 to 2022, she worked as an architect at SA Faverde architectural office in Nyon, Switzerland, through Archi Plus d.o.o. from Belgrade. During her professional engagement in Switzerland, she participated in the design of buildings of various types, with a particular focus on residential architecture and the renovation of existing buildings. 

Among her significant completed projects are the extension of a mixed-use residential and commercial building in Vevey, Switzerland, in 2016; the renovation of the mixed-use residential and commercial building Swisshaus in Nyon, Switzerland, carried out between 2018 and 2020; the Boxverde project comprising five terraced houses, based on a modular construction principle using fully prefabricated modular units, completed in 2018; and the design of a complex of four villas in Epalinges, Switzerland. 

Since 2022, she has been independently engaged in the architectural design of residential buildings in Serbia. To date, five residential buildings have been completed, three of them in Belgrade and two in Kopaonik. Her professional work encompasses various stages of architectural design, from concept development and elaboration of architectural solutions to the preparation of project documentation. 

Since 2022, she has been employed as an Assistant at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, at the Department of Architectural Technologies. She participates in teaching and other departmental activities, as well as in scientific research in the fields of energy efficiency and sustainable architecture. 

Her research focuses on building energy efficiency, energy renovation of existing buildings, and sustainable refurbishment of the housing stock, with particular emphasis on multi-family residential buildings from the period of post-war mass construction in Serbia. Her research involves the application of integrated methods of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis, as well as the development of comprehensive approaches to the renovation of the existing housing stock that simultaneously improve the energy and spatial performance of buildings. 

She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific and professional papers published in international and national journals, monographs, and proceedings of international scientific conferences. Her publications address topics including the complex and integrated renovation of the existing multi-family housing stock, improvements in energy efficiency through volumetric additions, and methodologies for the integrated assessment of the life cycle and life cycle costs of energy renovation of residential buildings. 

She has participated in numerous national and international scientific conferences, where she has presented research findings related to the energy renovation of the existing housing stock. 

Her research interests include building energy efficiency, energy renovation of existing buildings, sustainable refurbishment of the housing stock, Life Cycle Energy Assessment (LCEA), and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis. 

She is married and a mother of three daughters.
