Visual communications, contemporary methods of architectural presentation, the impact of generative artificial intelligence on architectural drawing, and the educational process in the field of architectural presentation.
Nevena Filipović was born in 1997 in Belgrade. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, in 2019, followed by a Master’s degree in Architecture in 2021. She enrolled in PhD studies in 2024, and since 2025 she has been employed at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, as a teaching assistant in the field of Visual Communication and Architectural Graphics within the Department of Architecture, where she had previously participated as a student demonstrator.
Her doctoral research focuses on contemporary methods of architectural presentation, as well as the impact of generative artificial intelligence on architectural drawing and on architectural presentation education. She actively presents her research at international conferences in the fields of architecture and urban planning. Alongside her research work, she also takes part in artistic work, participating in group exhibitions and organizing professional and creative workshops.
She gained professional experience in architectural practice through work at an architectural firm, where she was involved in the development of public and commercial buildings. In parallel, she developed expertise in visual communication and design through independent client work and collaborations with marketing agencies.
