Team from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade participated at the third working meeting of DANUrB+ Project on February 26, 2021. Among the most important topics of the meeting, the most prominent one is the DANUrB Platform, which has been reactivated and is ready to enrich its content with good new practices of cultural and historical heritage in the Danube regions. This online meeting gathered more than 60 participants from 19 partners’ organizations and 6 Danube countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, and Slovakia). As a result of the previously implemented DANUrB Project, the platform already contains 450 traditional local customs, attractions, and other valuable culture and historical heritage. Its successor project, the DANUrB+, aims to raise their number, raise their awareness, and increase the visibility of the platform.

Belgrade team (Prof. Aleksandra Đukić, Asst. Branislav Antonić and Asst. Aleksandar Grujičić) presented a working version of the DANUrB+ Atlas, which will contain demographic, economic, spatial and morphological maps of the shrinking cities and towns along the Danube. The collection of international, cross-border, and regional projects in addition to the so-called “Danube Cultural Promenade” continues.

Two other members from Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, Prof. Aleksandra Stupar and Asst. Jelena Marić, have also participated at the meeting.
