Collaboration with Fontys Academy of the Arts from Tilburg: International Student Workshop “Stratifying Belgrade – Diagrammatic Mapping”
By Arhitektonski fakultet on 17/06/2024The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture organized an extracurricular student workshop on June 12, 2024, as part of a collaboration with The Fontys Academy of Arts from Tilburg, Netherlands, under the auspices of the BINA festival. The workshop was facilitated by Assistant Professor Alda Avdić Alagić and guest tutor Ivana Lovrinčević from Fontys Academy, and by Assistant Professor Marija Milinković, PhD assistant Christina Meseldžija, assistant Relja Petrović, and research assistant Dezire Tilinger from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade. -
ECOBUILT Workshop: Teaching Eco-friendly Architecture

The workshop is a training activity within ERASMUS + program (ERASMUS-EDU-2021-EMJM-DESIGN — Erasmus Mundus Design Measures), the 15-month international project ECOBUILT – Eco-friendly Built Environment (n. 2101050081). This project is a result of mutual efforts of partner institutions: Riga Technical University, Latvia (beneficiary – https://www.rtu.lv/en), University of Genoa, Italy (co-beneficiary – https://unige.it/en/), and University of Belgrade, Serbia (co-beneficiary and hosting institution of the workshop – www.bg.ac.rs/en/). -
Report from DANUrB+ International Student Workshop and student exhibition in Sombor and Baja, August 25-26, 2022
By Arhitektonski fakultet on 31/08/2022The students of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade participated in the international student workshop of the DANUrB+ INTERREG Project in Sombor, Serbia, and Baja, Hungary, on August 25-26, 2022. The topic of the workshop was related to the mapping of hidden values in both cities in order to increase the attractiveness and new branding of these two border cities. Therefore, the workshop aimed to form a photo collection of hidden and less known places, which are not tourist, but have a potential for further development of a city. Students undertake an analysis where they were in the role of local and external city users, by which they defined a problem in the use of urban space and, then, discovered a potential as its solution. This photo collection is going to be posted at an Instagram account. -

The first national DANUrB Workshop in the Iron Gates Region – November 30, 2018

This was a one-day on-site event and meeting. All participants from Belgrade visited several important locations in the region and met local stakeholders, with whom they started the last phase of DANUrB research considering the project strategy. -

Collaboration with ETH Zurich: “Belgrade Unbuilt – Project for Public Landscape” workshop

Seminar week included study visits to various locations in Belgrade and the group work at the Library of the Faculty of Architecture. Belgrade Unbuilt — Project for Public Landscape workshop is a part of the curriculum of the semestral program within the first year of the Master design studio Architecture of Territory (Assistant Prof Milica Topalović) of ETH, Zurich, whilst for the students of the first year Master’s degree at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, the workshop was conducted as an extra-curricular activity.
