Tamara Popović (1993) graduated from Undergraduate (2015) and Master academic studies in Architecture (2017) at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Architecture (UB-FA). She enrolled in Doctoral studies in Architecture and Urbanism in 2017 at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, and currently she is preparing a doctoral dissertation application. Since 2015 she has been actively engaged in scientific research, and from 2018 to 2020 she was engaged in the project ТR (36034) Research and Systematization of Housing in Serbia in the Context of Globalization and European Integration in order to Improve the Quality and Standards of Housing. Since 2020 she has been involved in an international project Enhancing of Heritage Awareness and Sustainability of Built Environment in Architectural and Urban Design Higher Education (HERSUS) within the ERASMUS + program. As a researcher, she is the author of several scientific papers published in scientific journals and presented at conferences both nationally and internationally. Her professional engagement is focused on the theory and practice of contemporary architecture.
During her Master Academic Studies, she was engaged as a student demonstrator in numerous courses at the Department of Architecture and the Department of Urbanism. Since June 2018, she has been employed as a junior researcher at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture, and she has been actively participating in teaching at bachelor and master level. She participated as a mentor and participant in a number of student workshops. She is engaged in the conception and organization of extracurricular activities, as well as in the preparation of the serial publication AF Files. In addition to teaching, she is actively taking part in professional practice, through architectural design and competition practice. She is author or co-author of several competition works, projects, and exhibitions, for which she won a number of awards. She is a member of the Committee for preparing the accreditation of the Faculty of Architecture study program according to RIBA standards.
