Nikola Miletić (1994) completed his undergraduate (2016) and master’s (2018) academic studies at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture. Since 2018, he is a PhD student and is engaged in research on the topic of energy efficiency and performance of buildings. 

He started his professional career as a student by taking part in architectural design and urban planning competitions, working in architectural bureaus, while at the same time participating in undergraduate and master’s academic studies at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade as a Teaching Associate. He was enlisted as a Teaching Assistant in 2021. at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade.  

He actively presents his scientific research at international scientific gatherings and conferences in the field of architecture. He has participated in the organization of workshops and round tables on the topic of improving energy efficiency in buildings, as well as in the development and maintenance of the Energy Efficiency Knowledge Hub. In 2018. he took part as one of team officers on TwistBox project, reaching the final stages of international student competition Solar Decathlon Middle East (SDME 2018) in Dubai. As part of the team of researchers from Faculty of Architecture, he takes part in project coordinated by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internatilnale Zusammenarbeit) titled “Energy efficiency in public buildings of Serbia“, investigating energy performance of Serbian housing and public building stock. As a PhD student, in 2020. he was awarded the scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, and was involved in the scientific research project TR-33053: “Research and development of renewable subgeothermal underground water resources in the concept of increasing energy efficiency in buildings“. 

He is a member of the research unit SaRA: Sustainable and Resilient Architecture (Lab 21) as well as the Buidling stock research unit (Lab 18) at the Faculty of Architecture – University of Belgrade.
