RIBA procedure for validation (according to RIBA validation criteria) is successfully finalised on Friday, 30 October 2015. Bachelor Studies of Architecture (OASA) and Master Studies of Architecture (MASA) will be accredited with equivalent RIBA Part 1 and RIBA Part 2. This is to include study programmes commenced in 2014/15, current 2015/16 and following academic years.
Considering this validation is internationally recognised benchmark for excellence in architecture, the accreditation of Faculty of Architectrure study programmes with RIBA certificates regareded as “golden standard“ of profession contributes enormously to the reputation of our teachers and students.
The Faculty of Architecture will join the network of RIBA accredited courses aiming to improve its position for internationalisation of the study programmes and international cooperation in general.
RIBA offers a rigorous and systematic inspection of accredited courses to secure parity at the international scale, respecting at the same time local education systems faculties operate within. This is a key factor in RIBA mission to improve architecture and promote excellence in profession. More than 90 courses have been accredited and validated by RIBA and this number is on the constant rise.
