This lecture series is a continuation of the AUR Guest Lecture Program 2013/14 that followed the International Scientific Conference: Architecture Utopia Realism (AUR), organized by the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture, on 3rd and 4th October 2013.
The speakers at the conference were: Fritz Neumeyer, Reinhold Martin, Irina Korobina, Ljiljana Blagojević, Silvia Malcovati, Alessandro de Magistris, Krunoslav Ivanišin, Ivana Wingham, Tijana Vujošević, Aleksandar Kušić, Luka Skansi and Keller Easterling. The conference was accompanied by the exhibition “Ivan Leonidov: Projects”, which was organized and produced in partnership between the Schusev State Museum of Architecture in Moscow and the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade.
The thematic issue “Architecture Utopia Realism” of Serbian Architectural Journal (2014, VI-2) was published in 2014. The context and thematic framework of the issue are introduced by the guest editor Ljiljana Blagojević and five full research papers explore different aspects of this subject.
The AUR Guest Lecture Program 2013/14 included eight lectures within the three thematic cycles: Design and Technologies, Laureates and Candidates, City and Society. The lectures were given by: Johan Bettum, Aristide Antonas, Ezio Manzini, Matias Echanove, Tom van Malderen & Chris Briffa, Anne Lacaton, Emil Jurcan, Cristina Diaz Moreno & Efren Garcia [AMID.cero9].
