The Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade presented the D+ Atlas at the final conference of DANUrB+ Project in Budapest, Hungary

During the second conference day, the project partners presented the most significant results of the project to international and regional guests, including the important guests from INTERREG Secretariat, and organised several roundtables to highlight the most important topics for urban heritage along the Danube. -
Final Meeting of Erasmus+ CREATIVE DANUBE Project: Report
By Архитектонски факултет on 05/12/2022The 3rd and last transnational project meeting of the Erasmus+ CREATIVE DANUBE Project was held in Bucharest, Romania, on November 25-26, 2022. The meeting was organised by the project leader – the Faculty of Urban Planning of “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism. All seven higher-education institutions in the project consortium participated in the project meeting. -
DANUrB+ Project: Mural for “Stapar Rose” as the joint pilot-action of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade and the City of Sombor

The main pilot action within DANUrB+ Project realised in Serbia is a new mural for “Staparska Ruža / Stapar Rose” Women association from Stapar Village, a super-stakeholder organisation in the project from Sombor Region. Faculty of Architecture organised the second DANUrB+ regional stakeholder conference in Golubac, Serbia, on November 4-5, 2022
By Архитектонски факултет on 07/11/2022The last regional stakeholder conference in the Middle Danube Region in the DANUrB+ Project was held in Golubac on November 4-5, 2022. The conference was organised by teams from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade and Golubac Municipality. The main part of the conference were sessions where stakeholders and partners from West Romania, Croatia and Serbia presented their organisations, development visions and potentials to cooperate at regional level. There were also special presentations of the DANUrB+ Atlas, technical project and school programmes in Golubac. Aside of the sessions, all participants had a cultural tour in the Serbian part of the Iron Gates Gorge, with cultural visits to Golubac Fortress and “Lepenski Vir” Archaeological Park. -
Report from DANUrB+ International Student Workshop and student exhibition in Sombor and Baja, August 25-26, 2022
By Архитектонски факултет on 31/08/2022The students of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade participated in the international student workshop of the DANUrB+ INTERREG Project in Sombor, Serbia, and Baja, Hungary, on August 25-26, 2022. The topic of the workshop was related to the mapping of hidden values in both cities in order to increase the attractiveness and new branding of these two border cities. Therefore, the workshop aimed to form a photo collection of hidden and less known places, which are not tourist, but have а potential for further development of a city. Students undertake an analysis where they were in the role of local and external city users, by which they defined a problem in the use of urban space and, then, discovered a potential as its solution. This photo collection is going to be posted at an Instagram account. -
Report from 2nd DANUrB + International Conference in Sombor and Baja, August 26-27, 2022
By Архитектонски факултет on 30/08/2022The 2nd International conference of the DANUrB+ Project was organised in Sombor, Serbia, and Baja, Hungary, on August 26-27, 2022. The topic of the conference was regional branding and the network building of cultural economy and tourism. Therefore, the conference aimed to find common tracks, living and forgotten/or hidden remnants of cultural heritage in Danubian countries and beyond, which can be re-discovered and activated for regional identity and brand building. Regional branding is an umbrella term. This is a connection between the individual and collective reputation, where a special respect is given to quality, value adding and the strengthening of regional identity. Hence, the branding becomes an important tool for local/regional development and community building. -

Branislav Antonić – participated in the meeting of the DANUrB+ INTERREG Project in Calarasi, Romania, on May 30-June 3, 2022. The meeting sessions were also attended by the associate partners of the faculty from Smederevo and Sombor. The topics of the sessions were: action plans for Danubian cities and towns, work with stakeholders at the local level, establishing the project quality label and intangible cultural heritage along the Danube. Aside od the sessions, faculties of architecture from Budapest and Belgrade agreed about joint activities in the area of Sombor in Serbia and Baja in Hungary. -

By Архитектонски факултет on 08/06/2022Students and teaching staff of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade participated in the Erasmus+ workshop of the CREATIVE DANUBE Project in Calarasi, Romania, May 30-June 3, 2022. Five students (Nikola Mitrović, Marko Milosavlјević, Milica Ristović, Neda Stamenković & Milen Galetin) worked for five days with colleagues from the faculties of architecture from Krems, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Novi Sad and Bucharest on revitalisation projects for Calarasi, as a middle-sized Danubian city. The projects of all student groups were presented on the last day of the workshop, with an additional debate. Two mentors were in front of the faculty: Asst.Prof. Danijela Milovanović Rodić and Asst. Jelena Marić. -
