Uroš Radosavljević (1972) received a Ph.D. (2015) and graduated at the Faculty of Architecture University of Belgrade (1999), obtained Specialization in Public management & Urban Governance (2003) & Master’s degree in Urban Management & Development at the IHS Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Lecturing at the School of Urban & Regional Planning University of Iowa, USA (2011) & at the International Summer School Coastal Landscape Architectures (2013) Faculty of Architecture Alghero, University of Sassari, Italy.

 

Professional work is focused on urban management, governance, planning & design. Employed at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade at the Department of Urbanism (1999) and since 2009 he introduced into teaching Urban Management, Urban Functions – Public Services and Urban Mobility. He is a member of the American Planners Association, Serbian Spatial Planners Association and Serbian Town Planners Association.

 

Scientific and professional work he achieves through participation in international and national scientific projects: the UN HABITAT, FP6 EU and the Ministry of Science of Republic of Serbia. He conducted the development of the Plan for Tourist Valorization of the Golubac Fortress and Integral Plan for sustainable development of rural tourism in Eastern Serbia at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade as part of the GIZ project Municipal Economic Development in the Danube Region.

 

Editor of the scientific books, co-author of scientific papers of international and national importance in 12 chapters in monographs, 11 papers in journals and 17 conference papers.

 

Author of 5 urban studies, 18 spatial, urban and regulatory municipalities plans, 2 urban projects, 4 architectural preliminary and main projects and 10 urban-architectural competitions.

 

Received 15 awards and recognitions for his professional work at international salons of urbanism, architecture and competitions and 3 as student’s work mentor.
