Nikola Popović (1994) graduated at The Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade 2016, after which he received his master’s degree at the same faculty, department: Architecture, module: Architectural technologies (2018). He is currently doing a PhD in Architectural geometry and Geometry of architectural form and he has published a few studies in several recognized magazines concerning this topic. He has been a member of Serbian society for geometry and graphics (SUGIG) since 2020.

 

He started working at The Faculty of Architecture as a demonstrator involved in subjects Architectural geometry 1 and 2 (2015) and after that he became a teaching assistant (2018) and then the assistant on The Department of Architecture. Also, he was a co-worker at the seminar Unforseen Impulses of Modernism: The Case of New Belgrade (2018), and the coordinator in organizing The Web Exhibition and publishing the Annual of students’ papers (2020).

 

In the strictly architectural field, he worked for several architectural bureaus and he was participating in international internships within the IAESTE program in Lebanon (2018) and Ghana (2019). He is currently working for the architectural bureau POP ARH (pop.arh) in the team of young and perspective architects with whom he has won several prizes at national and international competitions.

At the same time, he is working on the project called Loznica to the best (Loznica najboljima) in The Team for the Future of Loznica, which focuses on the area urbanism, architecture and construction.
