Research interests:
Architecture as a reflection of the social and cultural context; contemporary and traditional architecture in rural areas; regional architecture; methodology of architectural and urban design; urban-rural relations.

 

Dr Miloš S. Aranđelović graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade (2009), where he received his doctorate (2016) with the theme Social and Cultural Circumstances of Public Purpose Buildings Development in Serbian Villages in 1946-1970 period. Engaged in teaching at the faculty since 2010 in subjects within the Department of Architecture and the Department of Architectural Technologies (2013-16) as a research associate. Elected as a associate scientist  in 2018.

Scientific research work is based on the study of the relationship of architecture as a reflection of social relations, but also a critical re-examination of contemporary tendencies and paradigms in architecture. He has published over 20 scientific papers and research in reference national and international journals and publications. He is a regular participant of international conferences. Among other things, co-author of 3 monographs, editor of 2 international proceedings. He performs professional and artistic work in the field of architectural design. He also works in the field of graphic design in terms of editing publications and exhibitions.

In his education and improvement, he was engaged in the scientific research project Research and systematization of housing in Serbia in the context of globalization and European integration, in order to improve the quality and standards of housing (TR 36034) (until 2019) approved by the Ministry of Education, Science and technological development of the Republic of Serbia.

He is a member of the research teams Architecture and Politics and Regeneration of Created Values in Rural Areas within the Center for Research Activities of the Faculty of Architecture (AF LABS 2020-21).
