Isidora Ilić (1994), completed her bachelor academic studies at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade (2016), after which she enrolled into the same faculty for her MA studies, majoring in Architecture, in the Structural Engeenering module. She defended her Master Thesis and Master Project in 2018, with the topic Dependence of static characteristics on the geometric configuration of single-layered structures, which was nominated for the RIBA Pressidents Medal award of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA Dissertation Medal). She is currently at the Doctoral Academic Studies where she is engaged in a research on the topic of reciprocal structures and the possibilities of geometric configurations of short rods in single-layered structures. She presented her research on these topics at several scientific conferences.

Her engagement at the Faculty began as a demonstrator in the subjects Studio Project 03a – Project Development (2016 and 2017), Design and Calculation of Structures 1 (2017 and 2018), as well as in the subject Constructive Systems (2018) after which she was hired as an assistant (2019), at the Department of Architectural Technologies. Her student works were exhibited at the 21st Salon of Architecture in Novi Sad, as well as at the 40th Salon of Architecture “Fields of the Future” in Belgrade, and at several exhibitions of students’ works at the Faculty of Architecture – University of Belgrade.

She participated in the following international congresses and workshops: First International Congress: Sustainable Architecture – Energy Efficiency (SAEE) in 2017, Architecture Day of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade in 2017 and First International Congress of Building Materials: Concrete in 2016.

During her master’s study, she started working in the architectural practice in the position of junior architect in Energoprojekt – Arhitektura i Urbanizam d.o.o. when working on projects of the Chinese Cultural Center and Ada Mall. After completing her master’s degree, she was employed at the architectural studio JND Art Biro d.o.o. where she gained experience in drawing technical documentation for all phases of design and different classifications of objects.
