Hristina Meseldžija (born Stojanović, 1991), received her bachelor’s (2013) and master’s degree (2015) from the Faculty of Architecture University in Belgrade. Her master’s project was nominated by the faculty committee for the Royal Institute of British Architects’ RIBA President’s Medals Award and awarded by the Bulajić Sisters Foundation for the best diploma project at the Faculty of Architecture in 2015. Currently she is pursuing her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Architecture University in Belgrade, where she is working as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Architecture.

 

From 2013. until 2019. she was working as a designer in the architectural studio URED, based in Belgrade, where she was working on various architectural and urbanistic projects, as well as competition projects and exhibitions. As part of the URED team, she received several awards and recognitions for built projects and architectural competition projects, the most relevant being the “Leonardo 2019” award at the VIII International Biennial of Young Architects in Minsk, Belarus (2019), Recognition in the Interior Design category at the 39th Salon of Architecture (2017) and Recognition in the Architectural Design category at the 38th Salon of Architecture (2016).

 

Since 2018. she has been engaged in artistic and exhibition practice within the group Modern in Belgrade. As a member of the group, in 2019 she realized several exhibitions, for which she received the Ranko Radović Award 2020.

 

As a member of the Modern in Belgrade team, she is representing Republic of Serbia at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2021.

 

Since 2018 she has been engaged in the project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia: Research and systematization of housing development in Serbia in the context of globalization and European integrations for the purpose of improving housing quality and standards (TP 3603433).
