Jelena Ivanović (1985), graduated Computer Science and Informatics at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade, with average mark 9.79 (out of 10,00) (2010). After that, also at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade, she started Ph.D. studies in Mathematics. It was finished with average mark 10,00 (out of 10,00) and thesis named Coherence and Simple Polytopes (2020). During her studies, she got four awards Most successful students of the year by the Faculty of Mathematics and she was supported by Serbian National Scholarship for PhD Students from national funds (2010-2013).

She is a member of the Project III 44006 Development of new information and communication technologies, based on advanced mathematical methods, with applications in medicine, telecommunications, power systems, protection of national heritage and education” financed from national funds.

Jelena is a member of Serbian Society for Geometry and Graphics SUGIG and Serbian Society for Pure and Applied Logic. She is also a member of the board of directors and organizational board of the Association the Young Mathematician. She actively participates in the scientific meetings organized by Mathematical Institute SANU and CGTA Seminar’s meetings at the Faculty of Mathematics.

Her most remarkable academic works are published in esteemed journal articles: Ivanović J.: Geometrical realisations of the simple permutoassociahedron by Minkowski sums (Applicable Analysis and Discrete Mathematics, 2020, Volume 14, Issue 1, ISSN 1452-8630, IF 1.500); Baralić Đ., Ivanović J., Petrić Z.: A simple permutoassociahedron (Discrete mathematics, Volume 342, Issue 12, 111591, ISSN 0012-365X, IF 0.770); Curien P., Obradović J., Ivanović J.: Syntactic aspects of hypergraph polytope (Journal of Homotopy and Related Structures, 2019, Volume 14, Issue 1, pp 235-279, ISSN 2193-8407, IF 0.537); Petrusevski Lj., Petrović M., Devetaković M., Ivanović J.: Modeling of  Focal-Directorial Surfaces for Application in Architecture (FME Transactions, Belgrade, 2017, Volume 45, No 2, 294-300, ISSN 1451-2092).

As a teaching assistant (2015-2021) and now as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, she takes part in the following courses: Mathematics in Architecture, Parametric Modeling of Architectural Forms, Applied Mathematics in Constructive Systems (master studies module The Constructive Systems Engineering), Parametric modeling 1 and Parametric modeling 2 (master studies). Within the Chair of Mathematics and CAAD, she realized several significant software applications using mostly Java and Grasshopper/Rhino.
