Aleksandra Čabarkapa, maiden name Kostić (1987), received the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture. In her doctoral thesis she dealt with ambient lighting. Her research interests include both architectural and ambient lighting with regard to aesthetics, visual comfort and security, energy efficiency, as well as preservation of historical and cultural heritage.

 

Since 2011. employed at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture. At first worked as a research assistant for the following courses: Lighting in architecture, Building services and Lighting Masterplan. Since 2015. working as a teaching assistant also for the course Design project (course on the final semester of Bachelor studies), Building technology and project management and Professional internship.

 

She was granted a scholarship from the Republic foundation for the development of scientific and artistic youth (2004-2010).

 

Since 2019, she has been a member of the Organizing Committee of the Scientific Symposium Building services & Architecture, held annually since 2010. at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture. She was a co-editor of conference proceedings Building Services and Architecture 2019.

 

The results of her scientific work in the areas of architecture and lighting have been published in international scientific journals with impact factors, other international journals, national journals and presented at international and national conferences.
