Symposium purpose

The Symposium purpose is to promote and emphasize multidisciplinary approach in research, design and operation of building services integrated in the architectural realm. Further aim is to present an array of new tendencies, ideas, methods and studies in the architecture.

The objectives would include incorporation of contemporary practices in facility design, construction, operation and maintenance, to foster a change in approach and concepts of architectural design that emphasizes energy efficiency, use of local resources, and green architecture.

The expected outcome of the Symposium is to develop ideas, inference and recommendations for future implementations.

TOPICS:

  • Water plumbing (sanitary cold and hot water, firefighting hydrants, irrigation systems, etc)
  • Sewage (waste, rain, drainage)
  • Mechanical systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)
  • Electrical systems (high and low voltage systems)
  • Gas supply and distribution systems
  • Solid waste disposal 
  • Transportation systems (lifts, escalators, etc)
  • Architectural design and management
  • Urban design and management
  • Energy efficiency
  • Alternative energy sources (solar, thermal, etc)
  • Facilities operation and maintenance
  • Project management
  • BIM
  • Climate changes effect on architecture
  • Teaching in the field of interest

Abstract Submission

  • Abstract should include the title (in English and Serbian), text no longer than 150 words, 5 key words, as well as author(s) information (full name of the author(s), affiliation, postal address, phone/fax number, e-mail).

Application Fee

  • Application fee for participants whose paper is accepted for publication in the book of proceedings:  80€ 
  • Application fee for PhD Students whose paper is accepted for publication in the book of proceedings:  20€ 
  • Fee for other participants of symposium: 10€ 

Fee covers one CD containing the book of proceedings and refreshments during the Symposium.

ADVERTISING FEE:

  • Fee for the presentation on the Symposium in duration of up to 10 minutes: 100€ 
  • Fee for a display of a product or firm presentation in a form of poster which would be presented in the hall of Faculty during the Symposium: 50€ 
  • Fee for the publication of an ad in the book of proceedings: 50€
