We are pleased to invite you to the final conference of the project EmBuild Energy efficient buildings – Plan. Invest. Renovate! in Belgrade, at the Belgrade City Hall, Dragoslava Jovanovića 2, on Thursday, June 7th, 2018, from 09.00h.

The EmBuild Final Conference is recognised as Energy Day and organised as part of EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW)!

The EmBuild Project is funded by the European Program for the Development of Science – Horizon 2020 and is supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) project Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings and implemented by the University of Belgrade, which is a member of an international consortium consisting of the partners from: Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany and Belgium. The implementation of the project in Serbia is managed by prof. Milica Jovanović Popović on behalf of the group of faculties of the University of Belgrade: Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

The conference will summon representatives of other institutions involved in the implementation of the project, as well as representatives of local self-governments with whom the project participants worked during the project.

The EmBuild Project is designed to strengthen the potential of local actors in building renovation through the development of simple tools that enable the creation of local building renovation strategies. The final conference is the moment when the results of the project will be presented to the wider community, with the aim of expanding the activities outside the network of 100 municipalities with whom the project was co-operating. The conference will present examples of good practice in building renovation and the development of local reconstruction plans, highlighting aspects that may result in similar activities in other municipalities and presenting tools that facilitate the creation of local plans.

In addition to the project participants, representatives of the EU Regulatory Bodies, the Energy Community, as well as international institutions that finance projects in the field of energy efficiency will also take part at the conference.

Interested parties can register for participation in the conference by June 5th, 2018 at the following link:
