Faculty of Architecture, Belgrade, in collaboration with Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia invites You to the introduction to the workshop W.A.Ve. 2018 which will take place on Thursday, 26th April 2018 at 19.00h, room 220. The workshop will be presented by Dr Enrico Anguillari from Universita IUAV di Venezia.

Italian Beauty is the title of W.A.Ve. 2018. W.A.Ve. is the international Workshop in Architectural design that takes place every year in Venice.

For three weeks between June and July, Università Iuav di Venezia turns into a big open campus, or a festival, frequented by over 100 teachers, professors and assistants, and 1.800 students coming from all over the word to participate to W.A.Ve. workshops.

For the first time in 2018, W.A.Ve. will be simultaneously held also in Albania, Argentina, China, Greece, Lebanon, Rwanda and Serbia.

EXTRA W.A.Ve. is a further opportunity to enlarge the debate to a global scale comparing the same topics declined on local realities.

Enrico-Anguillari

dr Enrico Anguillari

Enrico Anguillari (MA Arch, PhD in Urbanism) is Research Fellow at the Università Iuav di Venezia, Italy. He is currently part of the Management Team of the ERASMUS+ Project: Creating the Network of Knowledge Labs for Sustainable and Resilient Environments – KLABS. Enrico, has been Adjunct Professor in Urban Planning Theories at the Università di Camerino and in Urban and Landscape Design at the Università di Firenze and at Iuav. He worked on several large-scale plans and projects and on the development of the Landscape Observatory on the Po River Delta Region.

His current research interest concerns the environmental impacts of dispersed urbanization, focusing in particular on water and on emerging urban/landscape scenarios based on vulnerability reduction. He has published essays and articles in books and journals both nationally and internationally.
